FAQs

What can be expected in therapy?

My approach is eclectic, meaning I pull heavily from several approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Humanistic modalities. I am flexible in my practice and I like to bring my own personality (including humor) into the session space.

What if I start therapy and it isn’t a good fit?

Not every client-provider relationship is the right fit. I create a supportive environment where clients are encouraged to express their needs, including if they feel our work together is not the most effective match. If needed, I will assist in finding another provider that best aligns with your treatment goals and receive the care that best serves you.

What will session cost me?

It depends on your specific circumstance. If you are using insurance you may be responsible for your co-pay or the cost of sessions until your deductible is met. I provide sliding scale rates to clients who will not be using insurance. You would receive a quote and relevant payment information prior to your intake session so you are able to make an informed decision.

How long are people usually in therapy?

I believe that therapy can be beneficial in any capacity, as long as the tools and insights are applied beyond the session. I empower my clients to decide the pace and frequency of their work, while offering personalized therapeutic feedback and guidance based on my expertise and clinical recommendations.
